Where The Wild Roses Grow
 |
Release date: 9th October 1995
Highest chart position: 11

The release of 'Time Will Pass You By', what would have been the 4th single from 'Kylie Minogue', was cancelled in favour of a newly recorded song - the murderous love ballad 'Where The Wild Roses Grow', a duet with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Although it was considered an unlikely pairing, the duet became Kylie's 23rd consecutive top 20 single in the U.K. and peaked at No.2 in Australia.
Kylie & Nick scooped Best Single, Best Pop Release and Best Song of the Year at the Australian Record Industry Association Awards for 'Where The Wild Roses Grow'.
