After an impromptu performance of the Little Eva classic 'The Loco-motion' at an Australian Rules Football charity event with the cast of Neighbours, Kylie was signed to Mushroom records to release the song as a single.
Backed by 'Glad To Be Alive', 'Locomotion' hit No.1 nationally around Australia and remained there for a staggering seven weeks!
'Locomotion' became Mushroom Records first international No.1, topping the charts in New Zealand and Hong Kong, and set the record as the biggest Australian single of the decade.
The video for 'Locomotion' was shot at Essenden Airport and the ABC studios in Melbourne.
