Legend has it that Kylie heard the original 'Tears On My Pillow' whilst having dinner at Pete Waterman's house and was keen for it to appear in her new movie, 'The Delinquents'. Kylie's cover of Little Anthony & The Imperial's 1958 classic hit did indeed feature on 'The Delinquents' soundtrack album and provided Kylie with her ninth consecutive Top 5 hit single in the U.K. debuting at No.2. In the history of British charts only five records by female artists at that time had ever debuted at No.2 and four were Kylie's! 'Tears On My Pillow' featured a new track, 'We Know The Meaning Of Love' which was inspired by the movie.
