The title-track to Kylie's second album, 'Enjoy Yourself', was originally planned as the follow up to 'Wouldn’t Change A Thing' but was replaced with 'Never Too Late', recorded in July 1989. Backed with 'Kylie’s Smiley Mix', 'Never Too Late' debuted at No.17 in the UK due to the delayed release of the 12" single. Although it broke Kylie's impressive run of seven consecutive Top 2 hits, 'Never Too Late' quickly raced up the charts to No.4 the following week to become Kylie's eighth consecutive Top 5 hit single with sales in excess of 200,000 copies. In Australia 'Never Too Late' peaked at No.14.
