A last minute addition to 'Light Years', 'Kids' was originally written by Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers solely for Kylie but Robbie liked it so much they decided on a duet and it was also included on his album. Denied the top spot by U2, 'Kids' shot to No.2 in the UK charts to become Kylie's third Top 2 hit since signing with the Parlophone label. Kylie and Robbie performed a show-stopping version of 'Kids' at the 2000 MTV Awards and it has featured on Kylie's last two tours as an all girl tour de force with her backing singers Sharina and Laurine.
