Kylie's first retrospective neatly tied up her five year musical partnership with Stock Aitken Waterman and the PWL label.

Released alongside a long form video 'Greatest Hits' collected all 19 worldwide hits singles along with 3 new songs, 'What Kind Of Fool', 'Where In The World' and a cover of the Kool and The Gang classic, 'Celebration'.

Both the album and the video debuted at No.1 in the UK charts. In Australia the album featured different artwork to the UK release and was available as a limited edition digi-pack.
